“I am delighted with the work of the LJX team in taking care of two lovely trees in my garden. I now have more light for my flowers and veg, the tree branches are clear of the wires and the trees still have their beautiful shape and look great. The team, from speaking on the phone, to giving advice and a quote and carrying out the work were friendly and professional. After trying other companies and experiencing some difficulties, I contacted LJX and they sorted everything straight away. I will definitely call them again for any other jobs and I recommend them highly to others. Happy trees. Happy gardener!”

“We have two beautiful copper beech trees in our garden, but they had got very big and the branches were obstructing the telephone wires. The trees are also very close to the road. We approached several companies, but LJX inspired confidence from the start. Communication was excellent, they gave us a firm date and stuck to it. We were particularly impressed by the way the team regularly checked with us that we were happy with what they were doing. The crowns of the trees have been reduced by 30%, but the trees have still got their lovely shape. Could not be more pleased and would recommend without hesitation.”

“In a time that is so full of negatives I wanted to take a moment and reflect on what can only be described as a positive. I live at Broadie Park in Paisley, and today you have some crews in the park taking down a very sick tree and some others work also.
I started two weeks holiday today, although there really is not much to do the time off is always nice. I have sat at my window and watch all morning and have been so impressed with the way the team worked. From the initial assessment of the tree, to the man who climbed the tree and removed the wait form the direction they did not want tree to fall. The efficiency they have shown today has been so impressive and the way they have demonstrated leadership was outstanding and can be compared to army style. There seemed to be one man in charge and doing most of the cutting, from what I can see when he asked for something to be done this was jumped to but by the look of things not from fear but respect with a smile from and to staff, he engaged with, taking a moment to explain to the younger members of the team what was needed and why this was needed.
All of the men today just got stuck in to get the job done.I send this for no other reason than I was impressed to see a great team, who work as one unit for a common outcome. When I started to write this short message, the men took a break, they are back at it before I have finished.
Please pass this on to every person who was on site today as sometimes in life we forget to say well done for a good job.”

“Just a few words to say we were very pleased with the reduction of the 3 Sycamore trees which LJX completed recently. Jim gave us some photos of the trees which he took on his quotation visit. I ran off a few copies, and marked on them where I would like the reduction to be, which I provided the boys with, who came to do the job. I must say the boy who weilded the chainsaw did a fantastic job creating a good replica of what I envisaged. The two boys doing the clearing and chipping worked extremely hard to clear the waste product. Thanks again for a job well done, and I will have no hesitation in recomending LJX if asked by my friends.”

“Hello. This is just to say a huge thank you for accepting the fact that the overgrown cherry tree in my small garden is greatly loved by me, and for ensuring you took special care to prune its branches whilst still retaining the all over beauty of the tree itself. Your two specialists duly arrived this morning (Thursday, 25th July) and although fully conversant with the work required, thanks to a consultation with one of your experts the previous day, took the time and trouble to knock at my door and confirm exactly what I wanted them to achieve. This, I am delighted to say, has proved to be the success I dreamed about having with the tree which now looks even more beautiful. Rather like a lady with a brand new hair style instead of an unruly mop. Please feel free to use my comments as a testimonial to a good job well done. And thank you, for respecting my treasured cherry tree who actually somehow managed to survive the black blight which occurred a few years ago in the Livingston area where I live.”
– Beryl M Beattie, Livingston, West Lothian
Maria, I just wanted to say your guys are welcome here anytime. Very refreshing to come across pleasant, polite professional people. They’ve done a good job and made every effort to tidy up. Nothing seemed like it was troublesome for them. You need to set up a training company to instil the same ethos in other work forces.
– Jane, Kinross
After part of a tree collapsed causing some minor damage in the garden of a house we let out, we urgently needed to have the remainder of the tree removed before it also collapsed and potentially caused more serious damage to our property. The first company we contacted suggested the work would take four to five days and quoted us a ridiculous four-figure sum. However, LJX were able to come out promptly and have the tree removed in one day, charging us half of what the other company had quoted. They also removed all the debris that had been left behind following the initial collapse. We were totally impressed by their prompt and efficient service and will be contacting LJX again should we require any further tree surgery work.
– Mr D Bingham, Dumbreck
“LJX recently pruned my unruly Sycamore Tree, from start to finish the team were superb.
Professional, efficient, polite and VERY hardworking a credit to the company. The site was left tidy and they ensured my neighbour was informed before they started. I would highly recommend them for any tree work.
My sincere gratitude to all involved.”
– Norman, Houston
“We have used LJX Tree Surgeons on a number of occasions and would definitely use them for any job in the future. They are knowledgeable, highly professional, extremely reliable and very reasonably priced. Their work is excellent and they clear up after a job to the extent you wouldn’t know they had been on the premises. We would recommend them to anybody without reservation and hope their business goes from strength to strength.”
– Mr Robertson, Ayrshire
“We absolutely LOVE these guys! Our emergency and somewhat unusual request to rescue a drone from the top branches of one of the only trees in all of Glencoe (!) was met with great enthusiasm and little or no notice, early on a Sunday morning…Oki scampered up the tree like it was a child’s playground and searched for the missing drone which had, to our dismay tumbled from its previous resting place…eventually Dan’s eagle eye spotted it and all was well! The footage we had shot was vital and irreplaceable and we will be eternally grateful to these two excellent and dedicated lads, not forgetting the wonderful Maria back at base! You will be mentioned in the finished article…?Thanks. J&T”

“From the first contact I made with LJX Tree Services I felt confident that I would receive a professional service. I was not disappointed. The team that came to my property worked both safely and efficiently to sectionally dismantle a large damaged Poplar tree adjacent to my house. All debris was removed from site for recycling back at the company’s yard and if it were not for the missing tree, I would not have known they had been there.
We will be recommending LJX Tree Services to others – an excellent job !”
– Mr Hayes, Milngavie
“We have been using LJX Tree Surgeons for pruning our trees for a number of years and are extremely pleased with their services. All teams are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and always accomplish everything that they have quoted for. They are also very tidy and leave the garden and surroundings (even neighbour’s garden) clear of branches and chippings.
We are happy to recommend them and have done so to a great many people already. A marvelous job!”
– Mrs Moss, Newton Mearns
“I have used LJX on three occasions for hedge and tree cutting and found them to be quick to respond to my request for a quotation. The work was always carried out on the agreed date, we found all the staff to be friendly, helpful and courteous. We were always happy with the quality of the work carried out and also with the tidying up afterwards. We would have no hesitation in recommending LJX to our friends.”
– Archie G, Kilmacolm
“I instructed LJX to remove a couple of large dead/dying trees from our property which were overhanging our garage. All work was done in a day, with minimal disturbance to the garden. As requested, the wood was placed to one side of the garage in fairly manageable chunks for us to chainsaw at a later date. The service offered by LJX was courteous, timely and professional. I would highly recommend.”
– Jacqui C, Kilmacolm
“We have used this firm now on two occasions for both tree pruning and large tree felling. We have found them to be highly professional and reliable on both occasions and will continue to use them and I would recommend this company without any hesitation.”
– Marie S, Bridge of Weir
“Stuart and I are delighted with the work carried out on our Beech Tree today. We are so impressed with the lack of disturbance in the garden. There is no damage to any of our plants, and the area surrounding the tree. Thank-you once again, we will certainly have no hesitation with passing on your names and company as a recommendation to family and friends.”
– Jean & Stuart, Howwood
“Over a period of some years we have used the services of LJX Ltd. In our absence recently we had to call on them to attend to various dangerous trees. The job was completed to perfection, our property left neat and tidy and at a very reasonable cost. We have and will continue to recommend LJX Ltd to family and friends.”
– Dr Tom, Bridge of Weir
